Biomedical Wireless Sensor Network Project

The project partners will by development of a wireless life sciences solution prepare the ground for product and service solutions enabling project partners individual or collaborative delivery of integrated products and services to the market. The solution will involve examples with body sensors and implants communicating with the patient's mobile control unit for personal control and external communication. The sensors in the network will be prepared for integration in software applications communicating with surveillance centrals and medical expertize to monitor disease and medications. The number of sensors will be tailored to the patients diagnostic requirements. The project will focus on integration of existing sensors through efficient and secure wireless communication and development of business models for collaboration between the partners in the project.
