Proposed agenda

  • Welcome and presentation of the project partners (max. 10 min.per partner).
  • Agree on the final agenda and process for the meeting. There may be needs for smaller groups to work on specific issues during the meeting, e.g. the requirement specifications and the consortium agreement.
  • Project information workspace. A workspace on the Internet has been established for the project; www.bwsn.net . The Interventional Centre is responsible for this content management system.
  • Project financing and Consortium Agreement. I have asked Nordic Innovation Centre to send by email the contract and terms before the meeting. I have got several inputs to the proposed Consortium Agreement, and I will prepare a revised proposal of the Agreement to be discussed at the meeting.
  • Overall objectives, plan and roles in the project.
  • Requirement specification. Discussion and decisions. We aim at reaching the objective ”Requirement Specification” by the end of the meeting. The following specifications have to be addressed:
  • Definition of the test bed – Test protocol.
  • User interface definition.
  • Sensor requirements to communication, included evaluation of basic communication alternatives, e.g. 802.15.1 Bluetooth and 802.15.4a UWB-IR / ZigBee?.
Detailed plan ahead; activities and responsibilities
  • Establish the testbed at IVS
  • Sensor specific communication integration (local signal processing, sensor interface, processing of sensor data on PDA/PC)
  • WSN communication chip customizations
  • Common user interface from application layer (API) and upwards on PDA/PC
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis
  • Business Models
  • External presentations of the project. Common presentation material. We have been asked to present the project at different occasions.
  • Plan for reporting and payments from NIC and SNN.
  • Plan for the next meeting.
